KAUST Workshop on PDE in Traffic Modeling
June 2–3, 2012

Organizers: Aslan Kasimov, MCSE, KAUST & Christian Claudel, PSE, KAUST.

The Workshop on Partial Differential Equations and Traffic Modeling is intended to bring together applied mathematicians and engineers interested in modeling and analysis of traffic dynamics. The topic is highly interdisciplinary in its nature, connecting the subjects of partial differential equations, computational science, fluid dynamics, modeling, and social behavior. The workshop will focus on the practical challenges facing engineers as well as mathematical difficulties facing the applied mathematicians.

Invited speakers:

If you are interested in participating in the Workshop, please email the organizers: Aslan Kasimov or Christian Claudel.

The workshop is supported by the Office of Competitive Research Funds (OCRF).
